Agriculture 2007

Agriculture 2007

In Kentucky, farming ranges from the large scale irrigated cash grains operations of the western region, to the horse farms and general farm enterprises of central Kentucky, to the small scale farming of eastern counties.

Every 5 years, the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) conducts the Census of Agriculture.

For 2007, the Census of Agriculture collected data on a range of new topics including internet access, farm energy generation, and community-supported agriculture (CSA).

Data from the 2007 Census of Agriculture were just released this year.
