Youth Population Projections

Youth Population Projections

Using local demographic patterns and trends in mortality, fertility, and migration, the Kentucky State Data Center produces population projections for counties in Kentucky.  Additional projections are available including the projected median age and the projected number of persons per household. To see a line graph with the projections in your county for every 5 years, visit the Building Strong Families for Kentucky 2013 county profiles at http://hes.uky.edu/StrongFamilies

To learn more, see: Understanding the Baby Boom Bubble

Bar charts by Cooperative Extension District are available here.
