Population Projections 2001 Update

With the 2000 Census, the calculation of population projections have been updated by the Census Bureau. In the next few years, most counties in Kentucky are projected to see population increases (106 counties). On the other hand, 14 counties are projected to see their population declines continue.

This issue of “Kentucky: By the Numbers” provides the most recent population projections.
