Employment Change 1998 Update
The 1990s were a time of economic growth and change. Across the country employment rates rose. While not all sectors of the economy saw change at the same pace, the changing economy has also meant that the share of total employment held in different sectors also changed.
This issue of "By the Numbers" compares employment in 1990 with the county data from 1998.
