Aging Population Projections

Aging Population Projections

In the upcoming years, baby boomers will be reaching retirement age. This means that the number of people over the age of 65 years old will be increasing. This issue of Kentucky: By The Numbers provides population projections for older age groups in Kentucky. The Kentucky State Data Center produces population projections for counties in Kentucky by using local demographic patterns and trends in mortality, fertility, and migration.
